OHV Contact

In case of an emergency always call 9-11 immediately. Do not waste time contacting local authorities as they will tell you to do the same thing: call 9-11. If you can, always ride with a friend and let others know where you are going and AT LEAST tell them the general area you will be parking at and or riding.

Google Earth can provide Lat/Long coordinates if you manually search for specific areas using Google Earth. I recommend finding some areas you know you will be riding and provide some friends and families with these coordinates to better assist SAR crews.

If you do chose to ride by yourself don't just let family and friends know. Give the local rangers up here a call let them know who you are, what you will be doing, and where they can find you if you haven't "checked in."
